It seems like my local rental places never have a core aerator available when I want to rent.

Any suggestions as an attachment to a BX2370 or RTV500?

Or even a standalone model? I almost bought the Troy-bilt Flex system a couple years ago.

It would be kind of neat of somebody made one that would attach to the FEL so you could apply down-pressure.

Years ago I bought a tow-behind 48" unit for my riding mower. It was about $200. Very heavy duty. You can load the top tray with cinder blocks for weight and it will pull some pretty serious cores from the yard. I forget what it had been costing me to rent a power aerator, but the tow behind paid for itself quickly, and was also a lot easier to use. I think that would also be ideal for a BX.

I don't remember what brand mine is, either Brinly or Agri-Fab probably. Here is a newer model by Agri-Fab:

You can buy the tines online. its almost tempting if you can do the welding to take a piece of pipe and make one.

Ive just always rented a self propelled walk behind to do my lawn with. Like $50 a day to rent.
