Is there any way to save to your own hard drive a video that you see on you tube?

Thanks Jim, a little Googling and I found several sites that offer ways to download and save vids from You Tube. My intent was not to broadcast, but to show to a friend. The other way of course is to follow the links on their site that says "email to a friend"
