My DK55's coolant is bubbling out of the bottle. The engine is cold. Any ideas what this could be? The engine is not over heating (so Far)

Blown head gasket with combustion gases entering the cooling jackets causing overheating/ boiling of the coolant. The DK-55 series had issue with its head gaskets and a new design gasket was put in place to replace the original ones.
Check with your selling dealer with the part number availability of the newer gasket to your serial number, etc.
What year is your DK and how many hours? Still under warranty?
Wish I had better news for you- a friend of mine just went through it with his DK-55.

Yep, what CM said. Are you seeing any white smoke, and after shutting down are you hearing any gurgling sound in the engine? One or both are signs of a blown head gasket.

Replace the head gasket and all of the head bolts. I was making the last pass with the torque wrench on mine and snapped a bolt. After looking at the other bolts there were signs I should have replaced them all to begin. Mine was a CK25 and it wasn't a bad job at all. I bought the manual just to be sure of things like torque values, etc.

The head gaskets don't have enough gasket margin around the coolant holes.

Unfortunately, CM, blue, and seven are probably right. This is a serious problem because the resulting overheating can do damage as can coolant in the cylinders. Before you really tear into things you might want to use a coolant system pressure tester (usually a free loaner from car parts places) to verify that you really have a leak. You can also pin down the specific leak by listening at the intake, exhaust, and crankcase for the sound of air leaking from the cooling loop. Best to drain some coolant for this test.

Assuming the head gasket is leaking, recommend you have head checked for flatness at a machine shop before reinstall. If the head is warped, the new gasket will leak eventually. A good machine shop can "plane" the head to remove any warp and it's not that costly.

I don't have a DK55 book and I didn't see head bolt specs in the DK50 book (some bolts are spec'ed by max length or min diameter). So if in doubt, replace.
