Coolant - Water Wetter

Anyone use this stuff? I have seen it mentioned on a couple websites for increasing cooling system performance. Like everything else, the product site sure talks a good line. Usual things...lower temps, corrosion prevention, will not rip run or tear... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I have folks who use it water cooling systems on computers!!!!!!!! Supposed to help decrease temp.
I would just flush and refill the radiator more often. Cheap an easy to do.

I use it in my B6100. It doesn't have a water pump so I thought I'd try it. It runs pretty cool and never spits water out of the overflow tube.

I read a test report in one of the hot rod type magazines a while back. I don't remember the specifics of the report but they claimed it lowered temps in the test car. From what I remember it breaks/reduces the surface tension of the water allowing for better heat transfer.

I have been researching this stuff for use in an ATV to reduce operating temperatures. From what I have read of people using it they do notice a difference. I believe this brand does not offer anti freezing properties and just mixes with water. Another product called Engine Ice which replaces antifreeze offers anti freeze protection to a moderately reasonable freezing point and this will be my choice for the ATV.

Wether this stuff works for you or depends on the temp your running. If your already running cooler temp like 180 then it probably wont do anything. Now if you running 220 there should be a benfit.
