My TC33D has a coolant leak. It's leaking at the drain plug in the engine block behind the dip stick tube and fuel filter. It's not leaking from the drain port but from the fitting that screws into the block. The problem is it's really difficult to get to. The only thing I can think of is to buy a deep socket and have a slot machined into it to accommodate the drain port. Does New Holland make such a socket? Is there a better way to go at this? Thanks!

I have a TC33DA and I just replaced mine. I broke the little valve off, and used a deep well socket. Replaced the plug with a stainless reducer and plug, because I happen to have a stainless one. Seems like this is common on this tractor. The valve was too small to be a flush valve. I assume it was a drain plug. The plug was really corroded.

Thank you Paul. I had not thought of eliminating the drain but that's a good solution. You don't happen to recall the size of the plug or socket required do you?
