Here are a few of last years seeds that have begun snooping around. Not the ones I will target this year, grandson might, he's itching to take an 8 pt. My rules is it has to be bigger than his biggest, until he gets to a mature animal. Then only mature bucks.

Drove to the top of Mt Patterson yesterday (11,673 feet).

Sitting on my deck with a cup of coffee and a camera in the morning netted me these two beauties. Taken from about 20 feet away.
I set the ISO to 6400 and the shutter was also at 6400. 500mm lens f7(approximately)
I used Photoshop Elements on the bottom photo to remove some of the noise from the high ISO setting.

This is nature. Not really cool but be careful!

My great grandfather was struck and killed by lightning while working in a wheat field. My 16 year old grandfather then took over the farm.
