What we are really hoping for is that the cold (upper teens this morning) and snow will kill off some of the Mormon crickets that have hatched out already this year.

Full Eclipse here in Tyler Texas. Clouds made it interesting, but where able to see it between them.
The night lights came on for a few minutes, and it got pretty dark, but not so dark that you couldn't see. The animals just ignored it. No roosters crowed, nobody went to bed, it's like they didn't care.
