I looked through some old files I took a couple of years ago. I never posted this one. I thought this one was appropriate for this time of year.

Small sun dog on the evening drive...

We had quite a bit of milkweed and Monarch butterflies this year.

Snow on the giant reed grass Halloween night.
(for reference, it's 18' tall)

As soon as the sun melts the snow, it pops back up.

And finally, a Wooly Bear on the side of the shed illuminated by car headlights.

Looks like 24 more weeks of winter.

Took this one back in April when Yosemite was experiencing the big melt.

Edit: I liked this pic enough that I sent it to Ravensberger to make it into a 2000 piece puzzle. Waiting to see how that turns out.

It's still deer season around here so the ones with horns were hiding in the brush. The does are feeling safe and wandering everywhere....
