These are all from my little farm in mid MO. The one with the maple tree was taken during a break while dragging out a deer I shot. If you look to the right of the trunk you can see the rack of the deer. Didn't know it was in the pic until after I took it. The other two pics are from the deer stand.

This is a "business" that has two major locations now in the Palouse. The Palouse has been wheat farming forever. This is one just north of Steptoe Butte. It currently has some 60 of these wind machines. The other is on the high ridges just north of a highway junction called Dodge. This second location has MANY more of these wind machines. Soon the Palouse will be know for its wind power as well as wheat. At both locations you are able to drive amazingly close to these units and still remain on the county roads.

I once stood inside the bolt circle of one of those blades that had been removed for damage. Wind turbines are pretty cool. (And large.)
