Not a lot of options around here for nature photography lately with the weather. I'm gonna count this one that I took yesterday as a technicality though, since there's a river in it.
Synmat: that is worthy of an award. Philly or is that NY?
ALL: here's a picture of downtown Seattle when the Smith Tower at 25 stories was the tallest building and I-5 freeway was getting built in 1966. then a picture taken around 2000. i remember using I-5 freeway when I first started driving in 1971 and speed limit was 70 mph and you could usually go about 80 thru downtown on the new freeway cause there weren't that many cars on the road then.
I live 15 minutes south of downtown and last week I saw an Eagle flying about 20 feet above a traffic light I was waiting to turn green.
if that is Pittsburgh is it close to 3 river stadium where Bradshaw used to shine?
ALL: I usually have a few brown woodpeckers (females or different type than this one), but this red headed one has been working on the new telephone poles the last couple years and i caught a few pics of him today.
