Have you cooked in a buoy? Interesting origin story of the Weber kettle grills beginning as a nautical buoy.

One of our kids was given a brand new in the box Webber kettle a couple years ago. She gave it to us. I bought a smoke and sizzle drip tray charcoal separator from Flame Tech for smoking.

It works great!

I bought a new Weber about 1968 from a distressed goods outlet; used it about 50 years until the legs rusted and fell off. It was simple, worked good...better that the newer models with the butterfly vent and ash catcher.

I have a grill addiction and own several types and brands but if I could only have one it would be my weber kettle. I can do anything with that grill.

I went with a Happy Cooker. Looks like a Weber, but has ash pan on the inside. I never liked the idea of the ash pan on the outside, especially on a wood deck.
