Converted 2520 wannabe 20amp alternator to a real 45amp

C'mon Deere experts, someone must know the answer to my question...I posted a picture of a new alternator that i want to put on my X495...it came of a larger Deere compact. Can anyone please tell me which of the 2 terminals (flat spade) is the excitation for the alternator?

I don't want to risk trial and error here, help please...

The horizontal pin is the excitation. I attached a drawing to help clarify horizontal. I checked my 40 amp alternator and confirmed the yellow excitation wire connects to the horizontal (top of a T) pin. The vertical pin with the brown wire connects to the alternator light on the dash.
