Control Hydraulic Shoot on grand L 3540

Looking for suggestions. I have a Lucknow rear pto snowthrower with a hydraulic chute control. I currently run 2 long hoses from the front loader valve and use the bucket tilt/curl function to rotate the chute. I'd like to be able to control the chute but also want to maintain the tilt/curl function. I've thought about a diverter valve on the front loader but was wondering if there was a better way where I would not have to run the long hoses to the front. I feel I'm currently using the most cost efficient method now but would like to know my options. I posted a couple of years ago and I really like the response of getting a 1 spool open center valve and plumbing into my backhoe ports. My hyd flow rate seems to be about 13gpm but I'm not exactly sure if I'm reading correctly. Could someone point me in the direction of a reasonable valve that will work for this application.

Whilst you may be happy with a diverter valve, don't totally discount 12 volt linear actuators as another possibility?

Given the cost of hydraulic hoses and the necessary valving to control flow, 100 td's suggestion has merit.

I agree, that is how a lot of snowblowers do it.

I ended up installing a log splitter valve plumbed into my rear hydraulics. I messed up and brought the return into the port for my backhoe return which canceled the up and down function of the 3pt hitch. I'm thinking all I have to do is switch gender of the quick coupler and return the flow to the 3pt hitch position. Hopefully I'm Correct.
