Thanks for the great feedback on your "Blue Mule". When there are so many to choose from it is hard to make that final decision. It sounds like I must have done it right.

You are most welcome, Poolman67. I know exactly what you mean.....I spent two months researching, test driving, communicating with other owners, and agonizing over the decision. A tractor, no matter how big or small, is a BIG investment and, in my case, is hopefully one that I will only have to make once. I have no plans to increase my farm size and wanted this to be a one and done decision. I know it is still very early on, but I believe I made the right decision and am truly pleased with its performance, handling, and overall quality. Can't ask for more!

Just had exactly the same tractor and FEL delivered to me today. Only got to use it for a few minutes but I think I'm already in love.

I have owned an LS XG3037H for about four months now and grow to like more each time I use it. It is just the correct size to use on my 17 acre property. I have added Titan forks to it and find them very useful. I have owned a John Deere 42 horse for about 17 years and use it mostly for a backhoe. The first thing I did was add water/antifreeze to the rear tires. The FEL and forks will pick up almost anything now. I have also added a quick hitch. Just backup to your attachment and it connects! I found the seat lacking in suspension so I added an after market seat with adjustable spring suspension. On the right fender where there are holes for a grab handle (which LS chinced out on and left off) I attached a mug holder using one of the holes. One of my gripes is the steel box around the PTO shaft making it really difficult to attach the PTO shaft. Other tractors have a hinged box. Thus I removed it. My LS has hydrostatic transmission which is the main reason I purchased it. It is really nice not having to clutch. I also purchased the LS five foot brush hog mower. My 30 year old one was just about shot. The LS mower has a clutch and not a sheer pin which is really handy. Also a handy feature when brush hogging a long pasture is the LS cruise control. I shopped around all the utility tractors in this range and I decided upon the LS. It was also helpful that an LS dealer is just a few miles away. One of the reasons I selected and LS over a John Deere was the fact that Deere has plastic body panels and fenders and the LG has metal. My John Deere panels have all cracked and broken over the years.

Thanks, responses like this make me think I made the right choice when I selected this tractor. I appreciate the info.

It is a real shame John Deere went to those plastic hoods, all that I know of in my area are held together with duct tape. My two neighbors both have 4400's and are stored inside and still have crappy looking hoods. The rest of the tractor is tough and reliables as you would expect a Deere to be.
