connecting front loader with quick hitch when you cannot see the equipment

Maybe its a brand thing. Some may obscure the view more than others. All i know is i can see my plate just fine in the cab. the only time i think about wanting a camera would be when working the forklift attachment. Sometimes hard to see.

One nice thing about all my buckets, forks and even my big 10 foot snowplow, they all have alignment wings on each side of the attachment plates to guide you in but I still use my wife when necessary...

I welded wings to a couple of them that were a tight fit for the tractor. Allows me to be about an inch off to either side.

On some I've painted lines to make it easier to see if I'm centered.

Standing up to see the connection is the lowest tech option

That is the technique I use with my old Ford 1715, but the seat switch in the New Holland wants to kill the engine if I stand up or lean to far to the side.
I have a red chinesium snow plow that has a mounting plate that is six inches wider than standard. That was a bear to get lined up, Once it was installed I marked the mounting plate and later painted the top rail of the plate black where it mates up. Makes it a lot easier.

I guess it makes for a really expensive mirror, but perhaps a sign of the times, we have a dozen iPads laying around the house and no handheld mirrors. When I need to see something in a blind spot, usually driving up onto my Race Ramps for an oil change, I just grab an iPad and set it on the driveway with the camera in "selfie" mode. I can drive up the ramps while watching the iPad, easy-peasy. The same should work well for a blind implement attachment, and being closer on a tractor, you might even manage to do it with the phone that's already in your pocket.

More a "model thing" than a "brand thing". The Deere 2-series has great visibility, never an issue lining up an attachment with the JDQA hook and pin attachment. But my Deere 3-series is the opposite, you're just about totally blind to what's happening out front, from the driver's seat.

I'm 6 feet tall and lean, so about as much chance to crane my neck and view from different positions as anyone else, and I find that machine to be pretty bad when it comes to visibility of anything on the loader. Of course, as soon as your but leaves the seat, the pedals become disabled, so no chance to creep up on the implement while standing, unless you mod the wiring or seat switch.

I use a magnet mounted mirror to see the receiver/hitch connection on my loader mounted 3pt plate when attaching to a trailer.

Disabling that seat nanny should be simple....

I use the same standing technique as scootr has mentioned on my MX. A mirror is a great idea!!.. Go low tech and never have to look for batteries, a charger, do a software update or wonder why the damn camera has lost electrical connection!!!

I sometimes have to stand up slightly for the last bit of alignment. Can't move while standing as the safety switch will kill the engine but I can get close, stop, stand up to see, sit back down, move/adjust, etc. Sounds more complicated than it is to do... It is not a big enough deal to bother disabling the seat switch to me.
