connecting 8A hydraulic with out factory kit

Has anyone ever connected hydraulics from 8A backhoe to a 870
without a factory kit? Any help would be great thanks

Your tractor appears to be open center, and if the BH has an open center valve on it, it should be no problem to connect the BH.

You need to know the flow path of the hyd fluid.

Somewhere at the back, there is a high pressure hose going to the 3pt .

A manual would be good to have.

You need to insert the BH valve is series with the flow path.

You probably need a QD's for the high pressure hose at the back, and a QD from the BH PB port to complete the flow to the side of the tractor for the 3pt.

When not using the BH, you would just plug the two QD's together and have your normal hyd flow restored.

Thank you so much. My BH has two hoses coming from it one male and one female so I guess I need to find hose to 3pt and split it to go to the 3pt and the BH at same time than just find a return for the fluid. I do have manuals for both tractor and BH. Do you think I'm on the right track with this or upside down on understand this. ..... thanks again for your help

You can't tee and go to the BH and 3pt at the same time.

If your BH only has two hoses, the return/OUT hose should go the filler cap.

Look at your BH and see if there is a PB port.

Do you need the 3pt with the BH on?
