At first reading this thread, I thought i was the only one not having issues with Vista. Then again, when it comes to computers, I am a simple simon. I just thought that people complained because as with everything new, people usually don't like change.

It is just that with the long history I have with small computers I have my own way of structuring files and folders. It works well for me and all my computers are the same way. My wife uses the same approach and if she runs into problems with her laptop it is easier for me to help, and quickly.

If you do everything the way Windows wants you to do, you won't have problems.

HA! That's a good one. There have been several well documented instances of Microsoft's service packs and hot fixes that have caused major problems when installed.
