Kubota Tractor L3430 HSTC Closed Cab 2004
Replacing my "squealing" AC Compressor (6A671-97110 or 6A671- 97114) and flushing out the system on a Kubota Tractor L3430 HSTC Closed Cab 2004. Specifications with this model compressor sold on line have shown both 2.5 and 5.0 OZ PAG 46 OIL I suspect that is a general spec. most say refer to the individual operators manual. Does anyone have access to the Bigger Kubota Repair Manual for the L3430 and / or know what the total system requires for 46 PAG oil?

Every new compressor I have bought has a instruction sheet that explains about the oil charge on replacing. Too much oil is almost as bad as too little. I assume you have all the proper equipment to evacuate and charge the system (vacuum pump, gauge set, nitrogen for pressure testing, and leak detector). It is not as simple as removing one compressor and installing the replacement.

Thanks for the advice. I have ordered compressors before and they generally have paperwork sometimes helpful and sometimes not. This one came from Amazon no instruction paperwork or specs. I do have all the equipment for vacuum, flush, leaks, pressures, temp, and a new dryer and expansion valve, Freon 134A and PAG OIL 46. For me auto repair is easier to gain info/specs on than Tractor Repair. So this Tractor forum is great for that aspect. There are some very knowledgeable people on line here. Failure is not an option as success with the right tools and parts and info is the goal. Thanks Ron!!!
