Here is some pictures of a set of forks I built for my FEL. The frame is built out of 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/4" square tube 3-1/2" x 3/8" flat bar and 1" rod. The quick attach plates were ordered on line already made and welded onto the frame. The forks came off of a Bob Cat SS. These were too short and replaced for a longer set and were given to me. Enjoy!

Do you have a stop to keep the forks from sliding sideways. Mine kept moving without some weight on them. Drilled a hole and welded a nut& bent a bolt to prevent this. Other question is where the fork meets the upright. Had to beef mine up quite a bit to keep them from bending at that point, but other than my nit picking, they look great. Sure save on the back.

Man, I either need to get my new shop built, or stop looking at TBN... I think every day I see another project I want to work on.

Nice job on the forks, I really ought to get a set for my 2320 before we have to move again!

The forks look good. I also built a set for my TC 55. Alot cheaper than orig. equipment and just as functional.
Husker;
Quit moving and start pounding nails on a new shop. We want to see more projects !

May I ask where you got the SS plates? And the price? I was looking for some just recently when I changed my bucket over........ all I could seem to find was the large one piece unit. I ended up just making my own.

No I didn't think about the forks sliding around when unloaded. If I have a problem with that, I'll come up with a fix for that later. Thanks for the heads up on the uprights. In these two pictures, if you look closely, the two 3-1/2" x 3/8" flat bar tabs are cut longer and welded to the side of the square tubing. Hopefully that will be strong enough. I'll keep an eye on it though.

Click on this link, Skid Steer Q/A Adapters scroll about half way down, and on the right side of the page you will see the SS mounting plates. They come attached or unattached. I bought the unattached version for $42.00 ea. plus shipping. To order you have to call the 850 area code number listed under the picture. Great service and fast shipping. Hope this helps.
