Previous Branson 2400H. Looking for new
I just drove my tractor about 5 miles round trip to get some bucket hooks welded on and when I got home I noticed it was wet on the front right axle by fill port. I checked the level and it is right on the mark. Could it have been too full from the factory and it just worked its way to the correct level?

Possible, clean it off and see if it still continues to leak there.

5 miles of road travel? Depending on speed and bouncing around it might splash out of the breather hole. Could have built up some pressure due to temperature. Some tractors have the breather hole drilled into the fill cap. Some have a separate tube the runs up a foot of so to keep water out of the diff/axle gearbox. If it has a separate breather tube there should not be any fluid near the fill/check plug unless it isn't sealed (gasket?) or the breather tube is blocked or pinched off.
The other reply us correct. Clean it up and watch it.
