FWIW...
For the next few days you can continue to see the comet 'Lovejoy' in the S.E. sky...
with binoculars or even the naked eye the comet is visible below and to the right of Orion...

it is dimmer than some stars in the same line but the comet has a greenish glow...

It's your last chance to see it for 8k years...
The best time is just after dark and for a few hours after...before the moon gets too bright...

Looked for it the past 3 nights Except the clouds or unable to see because of neighbors lights.
Don't believe can hang around and wait for the next appearance.

Yeah, heard about this. Will try again tonight.

Also, Mecury and Venus are visable tonight and they should be close to each other for a change!

I wonder if we can see it while standing on white puffy clouds?

I've looked for it a couple times but haven't seen it. As 71bronco noted, too cold to spend a lot of time looking.

Couldn't find it, darn. I have never seen a green object in the sky.

I knew there was one flying up there somewhere and looked the other night, but didn't know where to look so didn't see it.
In 1997 there was a comet visible while I was building my house. I worked a lot after dark so saw that one a lot.

Isn't is just amazing that something can fly through the universe for thousands and thousands and thousands of years and never once have to stop to re-fuel?

There is a lesson there somewhere.

Thanks I will see if it is visible if the skies are clear in up here in northern BC. My Dad has been tracking it & the planets from his place in Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia.
