Age? Hours? Points or electronic? Any symptoms prior to no spark?

Thanks for the welcome & reply.I replaced the points,dist cap,wires & plugs,had the carb rebuilt,fired it up ran & sounded good I did some mowing 1-2hrs.and it quit like I shut the key off some time went by hour or less & it fired up & ran fine back to the barn.Iwas wondering if any one else had problems like this?i did order a coil today should get ie in 2-3 days.outside of that i am pleased with the tractor
