Coating step and decking on L2800 HST?

I have noticed the paint on the step and deck (don't know if this is the technical name for this?) on my tractor is wearing in certain places where it gets the most use. I was considering removing and coating with something similar to a spray-in bed liner.

Has anyone done something similar or have a better recommendation?

Yep works good and lasts a long time, and easy to touch up. ( I havent actually done the touch up thing yet after 18 months)

It was a pain to do it the way I did by removing the pieces, but it looks good, and another benefit is the traction when your boots are snow or mud covered.. much better. I never was worth a darn at masking off. Good luck

I have a Kubota L4400 and I used bed liner on the deck and step of my tractor. I got the idea from the thread posted by KOua. I have a pro thesis and it definitely reduces the element of slipping.
