Hi everybody. I have a old mf 185 -76. Doubleclutch.
I cant get the pto? to disengage enough. I've set the three screws in the clutch to 0.06 inch and the fingerscrews is just 1mm from the bearing.

I will link to a video so you see what I mean.

Sorry . poor English.

Have you had it a long time?
Did it work before?

On the clutch release arm( you have the bar jammed in) are there two holes for the pedal linkage?
The first hole is for drive clutch only and the second for two stage clutch operation.
I hope it's a simple solution to your issue.
if not I'd guess the pilot bearing is bad from what I see in the video.

I dont know if it worked before.
Its on the Second hole.
Is the pilotbearing the small one behind the clutch?

Yes the pilot bearing is the small one in the flywheel.

The hole towards the front of the tractor is for pto operation, it allows the clutch pedal to travel farther before it hits the running board.

Ok. Thank u. Can I drive with this with no risk for other things to get broken? Im really not in mood to split the tractor again.
Hehe

The bearing will go a long time before it causes damage.
You recently had the tractor split apart? It is very easy to bend the clutch disc if they are not lined up correctly. The result is clutch will not release.

Is it the small axel with splines from the Gearbox that is the pto? Then i understand. I think. If the bearing is stuck i some way the small axel will follow, right?

Oh i didnt see you message.
Yes I recently changed the crankshaft and many other things.
So u think it's a messed up clutchdisc or bearing?

Yes the bearing spins the small shaft but it Could really be any number of things unfortunately it needs to comes apart before you know for sure.
could even be the bevel spring has dropped out of place when clutch was installed.

Here is a video showing a bent disc and talks about clutch assembly
