Clutch sudder on a DK45S

My new to me 2006 DK45S has 383 hours on it and works fine in low and medium ranges. However, when I shift to High range and slowly let off the clutch it shudders and bucks so bad I have to slam the clutch pedal back down. If I let the clutch out super slow it will engage correctly. Is this a clutch adjustment issue?

Maybe, but it sound more like you are either on an upslope or have the throttle set too low. When you go into HI you need to make sure there is no load on the engine. My H does the same thing if I try to go into 5th gear on an upslope.

I was always on flat land with the throttle about in the middle of the range. It happened to me almost every time I tried to take off. I guess I could try to rev a little higher and see if that helps.
