I'm sorry the disc pads stop moving and wobble is that normal?

A wobble is hard to define, but a clutch you can smell likely has lost tension in its steel parts and anti-chatter springs, and maybe some facing too. Any idea of the hours on the clutch? Did it have free play in the pedal before this happened? Hard use with the adjustment too tight will cook it quickly. Sound like a new clutch is in order.
Make everything in there new when it's split; you won't regret it.

A driven disk will wobble a small amount, and mireif it's worn on the splines. Still, the stink is not good.
