Anyone have a problem with the cable assembly that engages the forward clutch on a Troy-Bilt Pony--664D to be exact? Seems like both the new as well as the replacement cable assembly has a clamp that is anchored onto a black plastic sleeve which unfortunately slips and therefore adds way more slack than I can take up with the adjustment sleeve. There would be a tech service notice if this was a car!! Any ideas for a solution?--replaceing a defective part with another defective part doesn't seem intuitive...Thanks in advance for the input.
