Clutch pedal on YM1500

Anyone else have the problem with the clutch pedal on the yanmar 1500 being too close in? Is there a way to move it to the left about 3 inches?

also, any modifications to the fenders where they mount on the footboards? Mine seem to extend about 3 inches foward and keep hanging my foot.

any ideas or fixes?
Sorry for all the dumb questions but I know NOTHING about Yanmars and am slowly learning.

I had the same problem with the fenders and seat I took a large c wrench
and curved the fender next to the foot pad out to the tire gave me a little
room with out cutting the fenders at the bottom also i took the brackets
off the bottom of the seat made new ones to extend the seat back a few
inches made all the diff. in the world.

I thought about cutting the fenders flush at the front mounting bolt and putting a channel mold to cover it.
Also, good idea on moving the seat back. I have noticed though that if I lift the rear 3pt all the way up it lifts the back of my seat up about an inch.
Did you have this problem also?

I was looking at the clutch pedal on the Mitsubishi tractors and the support arm comes up at a 45 angle instead of 90 and it would be perfect and I could find one of those from Valley Power and reweld the spring bracket.

I found a picture of the Mitsu clutch pedal that I think would work. Either replace the entire pedal or cut/weld a new wider plate on the existing.
