Help. I started my jimmia 254 shifted into gear and later tried to shift into reverse. Pushed down on the clutch peddle and it stayed in gear. Killed the tractor. Now I find that the clutch seems to be welded to the flywheel. You can shift gears and start the tractor in gear but the clutch does not work. Also you can force shift the gears in Low range. I tried to make the clutch slip by chaining the tractor to a tree with about 25 feet of slack. Hit the end of the chain and the rear wheels dug a hole. Any ideas?

Sounds like you may have broken the roll pin on the clutch fork, or the fingers burnt thru when the throwout bearing seized up. Clutch usually don't stick unless rain or water gets in there and sets for long time. Then often it will OPEN UP but rust keep the spring from pushing it back to/against the pressure plate. Does the PTO clutch work>?
