While doing some mowing with the BH recently, I noticed that my 7360 has been running on the warm side. I was due for service anyway, so I took a good look at the cooling system. Replaced the air filter... it was dirty but not exceptionally so. The front compartment was kinda dusty, so I took out the compressor and tried to blow out the dust. Well, to my surprise, loads of dust came out the back (engine) side of the radiator. So I took a good look and the fins were completely clogged with dust. I could not see through the radiator to the engine. Took me about an hour to clean it out...first with air and then with the hose (water). Made a big difference. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif So did the new air and fuel filters.

So, when servicing your toy...err tool, take the time to check out the radiator fins.

Funny that you mention that. After I got my brush hog and hogged a while, I noticed that it was getting a lot warmer than usual. Hot even. I was worried that the hog might be too large for the tractor and overworking it. The next time I was getting ready for a hogging session, I decided to check the radiator, because I noticed the grill was clogged with weed seeds and debris. Sure enough, that sliding screen in front of the radiator was jammed full of junk. Cleaned it and the front of the radiator and it never got hot again since! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
