Bought a woods bb720 today. It has category 1 and 2 attachment points. The clevis pin just reduces to 3/8 on one side so it will accept cat 1 arm from smaller tractors. The problem is now the arms won't be centered on the clevis pins, instead they will be offset a couple of inches to the inside of each clevis. Which is also how the cutter accepts the smaller width cat1 arms. My tractor, (JD 4610 43hp, 33 pot, 2500# attachment lift capacity 2 ft aft of the arms) is cat 1 and this seems like a handful of cutter (1200#) for it. I'm wondering how that will affect the lifting of the cutter. In other words will it put to much stress on the inside half of the clevis or what? If you look closely at the figure 10 on page 7 of this link http://www.woodsequipment.com/uploadedFiles/Products/literature/Single-Spindle B07080.pdf you can see they have a cat 1 attached.
Appreciate any advice.
