Clearance Over Motor for Shelf on ZTR

Posted this on Lawnsite too: I am getting my Country Clipper ZTR ready for the season. I have sticks and small branches all over the lawn, and want to put a metal shelf above the motor (Where Bagging unit would go) so I can put a basket on the back to throw the sticks in as I go. I can't tell how much clearance I should give between the motor and shelf. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, Brian

I would leave at least 6-10 inches of space (assuming a flat shelf), that is what it looks like they have on their accessories page under the baggers. You could call them and ask how much clearance there is under the "JAZEE ONE Grass Collection System" that would probbaly tell you how much is needed.
