Oil & Fuel Clear fuel tank level tube for Satoh 650G

The clear plastic tube on the outside of my fuel tank that is used as a fuel gauge is pretty deteriorated after 30 years. Any suggestions on a suitable replacement material?

It's about a 3/8" or slightly bigger line. I don't think chainsaw fuel lines are that big. But if they are transparent do you know what they are made of?

Check with Tractor Supply, Lowes or Home Depot. They sell bulk hose and it usually says what it is rated for. Mine is a lot smaller. Maybe auto parts store?
