Was thinking of spraying w/ brake or carb cleaner. Any damage risk or am I going overboard?

Tractor Massey Ferguson model 85, Allis-Chalmers WD-45 The o-rings in your couplers are made of nitrile. Brake cleaner and carb cleaner have chemicals which attack nitrile. Take kenny's advice, Wd.
