Has anyone seen pins for implements that fit the standard class 1 hole in the implement but have the larger class 2 pin size where it fits into the lift arms of the tractor? I have several sets of the bushings that increase the size to fit a class 2 tractor, but thought that I might find a class 2 pin with the reduced treaded size that bolts into a class 1 implement.
Thanks,

Pins like that came with my Farmi 501 winch. I would give Valby a call. You can get there number from this web site.

The parts diagram for the 501 shows the pin. The actual pin has a bigger Cat II section and a smooth transistion from Caat I to Cat II. It did not have the sleeve as shown in the parts diagram.

Andy,
I see them on your (NICE) winch. That is what I need, if they use the 7/8" thread and the 1 &1/8" stub.

I just looked on Tractor Supply's website and they may have them also, so it may not be something that is unique as I thought. I thought I was going to have to build some just to keep from messing with those bushings. Plus the extra diameter on the pin MIGHT (big word!!) keep me from bending the pins quite as easily, although not as easily as a regular class 2 pin with the extra size in the threaded area.

I just added a blip of weld to the bushings when i want em to stay on a pin long term with no hassle. 10 seconfs of hand file or angle grinder takes em off.

YES, Tractor Supply has 'em. I've got a box of 16 of them in my shop. They were removed from several implements I bought a few years back. If you don't find any close by, let me know.

I really don't mind the hassle with the bushings. My reasoning, however skewd it might be, is to go with the larger pin diameter without having to drill out the box blade holes. The one piece of a larger cat 2 pin MIGHT be a little stronger than a cat 1 with a bushing. (Big maybe?). During my repairs on the box blade, I noticed the pins were bent in the area of the lift arm bushings. One also had the threads stripped, which is why I am replacing them. I thought if Cat 2 with cat 1 threads is available, the bending might be reduced. That won't help the thread problem, but that might just have been cheap chinese junk, poor threads, lack of anti-sieze, or ?. If the cat 2 pins have a large shoulder on them like my cat 1 pins did, it might make a difference, however slight.
I figured this might be one area where I could increase the strength of the parts and maybe not affect the over all strength of the weakest point on the box blade. If I tear it up again, I would prefer it to be right where I broke it before, as that fix was reasonably easy to repair.
Farmwithjunk,
I appreciate the offer, and will advise you if I can't locate them locally.
