It would depend on if you mean the type that clamp on to the bottom lip of the bucket OR the kind that clamp and hang from the top lip of the bucket. Since I have the kind that clamp on the top lip of the bucket I can comment on those, because I cannot see how the other type could work. Since the forks are "L" shaped, the short leg of the "L" is attached to the clamp at the top lip of the bucket, and the right angle of the "L" is at and just below the bottom lip of the bucket, protruding forward to lift whatever you're moving.
