That's one way to get rid of them, and they can be great for your garden. (I've been known to stop and offer to help somebody who's raking their lawn, if we can load the clippings into the back of my truck.)
How do you mulch them? When I had a smaller lawn with a lot of trees I would just keep going around in circles with my mower, blowing them into a smaller and smaller area. By the tie that they were in a pile I had a big pile of finely chopped leaves which were great for mulching my tomatoes the following year.
My buddy hit a deer with his sedan, ran over it, and the car behind him ran over it. The third car stopped and took what was left of the deer home with him. One man's junk is....
Then there are the "Free wood" ads that want you to remove a dangerous tree leaning over the house, but you must be licensed and insured. For payment, you can keep the wood.

I have not seen that one. Yet.:laughing::laughing: We do have plenty of Free Firewood adverts though. The free firewood is a tree that just fell down, you can chainsaw up the tree and keep the wood. Usually the tree has bad access too.It sure is not free nor firewood.
