So says my dealer, they're on the ROPS and not the fenders so as to prevent damage to the fender when they're inevitably ripped off.

I just added a cover.

My dealer said it was so they could be better seen, i.e. for 'safety'.. Either way, if you go neear trees limbs, they get ripped off.

Where'd you get your covers?

Specialty Repair Custom Mods; a husband and wife out of Canada that are great to work with. They originally were sold for Kubota, but they worked with me to find a compatible size, and now sell to Kioti owners.

I picked up their diff-lock pedal too, and have been quite happy. It's good to have in the winter with my big boots.
