Hopefully that gets you going. It happens when air pressure gets low with loaded tires. Back it up with about 15 PSI and you should be good to go.

Rim guard has a definite odor, like a sweet manure is the best I can describe it and once you smell it, your not going to forget it.

This makes me think a rim is spinning in the tire. Tires loaded? What pressure is in the rears?
I had the same idea after I postet the "differential issue".

Hopefully that is the problem. It is one of the more over looked possibilities when troubleshooting a problem such as this. We tend to think the worst but it seldom is. I have learned over the years to check all the simple stuff first then go deeper if needed.

You're right. Simple is sometimes too complicated.

I do believe that was the problem. I made it home last night and checked the tire pressure. It didn’t even register on my gauge. Best part is they must have filled the thing with Rim Guard because it kept coming out every time I stopped putting air in. I had the valve stem top center and could only get the filler to read right after I put air in. The right side was low also but gauge would read without issue. Ended up putting 20psi in the problem tire and matched it on the right. Thanks for the info.

I was able to smell it last night outside. You are 100% correct on it’s odor. Must be because we were cleaning barn it just matched the smell the other day.
