Long story short, you miss checking some small things when purchasing a new unit. My OEM top link that came standard with my 3510HST, I noticed that the pin sleeve going through each threaded ends are different. One pin sleeve is longer than the other, see photos. May be hard to see but first photos shows the tractor threaded end pin sleeve is about 1.5" long and the second photos shows the implement end pin sleeve is about 2.5" long. The longer pin sleeve on the implement end makes it difficult to attach some of my existing smaller implements since the sleeve wont fit in-between the bars of the implement.

Is your OEM top link the same? Did they give me a top link from a DK in error?

Everyone I've ever had has been that way.

Just my opinion, the tractor side of your top link looks just fine and is properly fitted and installed. The implement side of your top link is different than my CK4010SE. Mine is a simple rotating ball with a Cat1 hole size, awaiting the pin connection, and is a lot easier to connect implements.

I might add, you can always remove that top link, and bring just your top link to your dealer for a swap. If it's a new tractor, they should provide support to make you happy. Or you can purchase a universal Cat1 top link online or at tractor supply or most farm stores. Try the dealer first, because its certainly possible they used a top link from another tractor.

Interesting that your 4010SE top link does not have a sleeve at all, just the rotating ball.
Yes, I did talk to the dealer and they thought both sleeves should be the same length so I believe they would swap it out for me.
Good info TY Rad. (y)

My Kioti OEM top link did not come with a sleeve. I am thinking, your sleeve reduces yours to the Cat1 pin size, which means your top link was originally a Cat2 size, and when sleeved reduces to Cat1. I have never used a sleeve on the implement side, and see not alot of benefits from the sleeve. That sleeve is a complicating factor.

Is the sleeve removable? Looks like it could be pushed out with perhaps a press or vise using a deep socket. I have not seen the implement side with a sleeve on any of my tractors unless I added it.

Both ends on the toplink on my CK3510SE look like the tractor side on yours. A little bit of a sleeve on either side of the ball.

ok. I am glad you could see the difference in the photos. I suspect I was given an incorrect top link, go figure.

sleeve is not removable, its welded inside the ball of the thread end. Good idea and wish it could be pushed out via a deep socket.
You cant see the sleeve welds in the photos, my error for not initially describing it as welded.

Stan and Mtsman2, I reserved the next CK3510SE that comes in at my closest Kioti dealer. Will be my first Kioti after having 4 Kubota's. I have plans to replace the top link with a hydraulic cylinder as well as the side link (tilt). I will try out the hydraulic cylinders called Magister.
