I have a new ck35 about 3 weeks now with 20 hrs. The rev. , forward shifter is real hard to move. I thought it would loosen up by now. Any one else having same probles?
Not sure what it is you are talking about. The throttle lever by the steering wheel or the HST foot petal? I have not had problems with either on my 2 year old CK35 HST.
Check linkages and shafts where they enter the transmission housing and lubricate them well, it's been widely known to have shafts rust and corrode where they enter the housing, especially if they have been kept outside for periods of time.
I have a CK25,gear,and the shuttle shifter can be a bit of a pia, however after 550 hours,it seems to shift easier or maybe I am just getting more use to it.
It does seem to be one of those things that become second nature when you get used to it, but you wonder if something is not right. Every now and then I will be shifting and the lever just will not smoothly do what I want it to do. I have 430 hours now and it shifts ok but tight at times. Maybe I will look underneath to be sure all grease plugs are filled.
We had the same issue with our CK35. When the dealer popped by he lifted the rubber cover up and sprayed a lube into the linkage, worked it a couple times and voila!!! Nice and easy now.
