If you think I am having a hard time picking a tractor you should have seen me trying to reason between the rig I wanted and the one I felt comfortable spending the money for. My wife couldn't take it any more and gave me an early birthday present, this was a few years ago.
Like tractors all my equipment before that was old, some would glow in the dark.

Ah yes, I do fondly remember that smell that the old "glow in the dark" rigs would emit as they warmed up, That hot dusty smell. Just a memory for me now, I havent had one for about 25 years I think.. I think the last one was a Kenwood TS820s..Of course it only had 3 tubes. It was a great old rig. are you on 20 or 17 meters? We could work some time if you like

Hi James, we getting ready to sell the home we are in and build a few miles away so I do not have anything in the air just now except a 80m wire dipole and it is attached to the chimney at one end and a flag pole at the other, about 15 feet high. A cloud warmer, but we could try. It might load up on 20.
One reason I wanted a BH was to dig the holes for a few towers, beams and repeaters, looks like I will need to sharpen my shovel.

It would be fun to try. yeah the 15 foot high dipole is definately NVIS for sure,on 80 but it could work especially on 20. I bet it would. if you can match it on 20.

The CK 35 is significantly more tractor, IMHO, but then, I might be a little biased. I'm betting a CK20 would far out work the Kubota.

I would get the Kioti. You will get a heavier tractor with better capacities and a position control 3 point hitch. Don't settle for less either, get the CK35, you will never know when you need the extra HP.

Thanks for all the knowledge you all have shared.
I have compiled a list of features and suggestions that you all have made, listing Kioti on one side of the page and Kubota on the other. To make it fair I compared the b3300su to the ck35 because they are the same price here. If I buy Kioti it would likely be the ck30 to save $1500.
Dealer, both seem top notch, Kubota dealer has been around forever. He handles a number of major tractor companies and I have known these guys on a first name basis for decades. I just met the Kioti dealer who only carries Kioti. Both dealers are close by, with several other Kubota and Kioti dealers with in a short drive. I have not driven either one yet. Kioti dealer offered to drop one off so we can test it. Kubota dealer does not have this model in stock but can get it with in 2 weeks if I buy one.

Ck35 has a little more hp (ck30 a little less hp and less money)
ck has greater hydraulic pump flow, it is heavier by more than 1000 lbs, 300 lbs more 3 pth lifting, position control for 3 pth, 3 cyclinder engine ( more like the kubota L series), 4 year warranty vs 2 year, a few extra features or options like cruise control and mid pto.

Kubota, lighter - may be easier on the lawn with finishing mower, has known resale value, I like the dealer better , 4 cyclinder engine may have advantages,
and most of all its a Kubota and I love just looking at the b3300su.

So on the specs side the Kioti appears to be well ahead.
Did I miss anything?
Thanks
Don

Just to mess the waters some more here have you looked at Massey Ferguson. They are quite impressive but I know nothing about them. And a lot cheaper than anything else in our area.

Yes I asked the local dealer for a quote and it was higher than the other 2 so I never went to see them. I also got quotes for new holland and john deere both were close to 10% higher than kioti and kubota.
Thanks for the help

I didn't keep the info but if I remember correctly it was a mf 1532. Did not see one in person so I have no opinion on it.
I did my early footwork on the phone. Some sales people didn't care to give much effort on pricing to " some guy on the phone". The new holland, kubota and kioti dealers all put real effort into finding out which tractors would be right for our use and quoting a price on the phone. Not saying the mf dealer didn't help just that the other 3 stood out.
