Dirt Moving CK35 Box scraper

Will my CK35HST pull a 6' box scraper? I am looking at the box scrapers at Tractor Supply Co. They have a 5' and a 6' both the same price ($599). 72" (six feet) would be good but I don't want to get something that my tractor will have trouble pulling. I need it for my 400' gravel driveway.

I have a 6 ft that I use with my CK35 HST. If I get it full of wet gravel it can be a bit tough to pull, have had to put the tractor into 4 WD. You should really get the 5 ft for it. Reason I got the 6 ft was it was well priced used.

I understand Mousefield's reason for the 5ft but you could adjust so you don't take as big a bite and use the 4wd when needed. If you have R4 tires, the outside width of the R4s is 63". I like to be wider than my tracks. Good luck on choosing.

Thanks... I have ag tires... I'll have to go measure the width. Makes sense to be wider than the tires!

Tractor Supply is having a grand opening 10% off sale. The 5 or 6 foot box scraper are the same price so I am going up today to get the 6 footer. Hope it works!

I have a DK 35 gear model. A little bigger in frame size but the same HP as the CK 35.
It will pull a 6' box blade heaping full with no problem.

I have a DK35HST with a 60" TSC box blade. Full of slop in the mud it is no match for the tractor. I personally would go 72" if i had to do over again. "Go BIG or go home!" is my motto. . . . Good Luck, John
