CK35 Age Differences - Options

This is building on my older post. I tried searching so please forgive me if this has been answered before.

Are there any notable differences in the CK35's built between lets say 2009 and now? Two dealers I am talking to have told me the model they have is 2010; which I would take as being made in 2009. My current ride is a 1989 vintage so I am really only concerned if there are improvements made in the newer models.

Also, while I'm here I realize the mid mount is an option. Is this dealer installed typically? Anyone have a thought on what it would cost a dealer install, mus the mount not for the mower its self. Thanks

Look at the serial #'s. If the # is preceded by an I, it was built in '09; if it's a J, it was built in '10

I don't think there are any differences in the CK35's. It's built on a platform that dates back to about 2004 or so. That means it's mature and the bugs have been worked out. The CK35 is the most recent addition to the CK line up. It answered the cry for more hp. Other than the engine, the rest of the tractor has remained pretty much unchanged since they fixed the loader and injector pump design problems (circa 2007). Around that time they also increase the size of the front tierod to better match the beefiness of the front end. Kioti could still improve the ignition switch and fuel gauge.

thanks for the feedback guys. I'll also assume if the number is preceeded by an H-it is an 08 vintage.

BTW-I was informed that whie I can get a mid-pto, Kioti doesn't make MMM's anymore so I was advised against the cost of the option and to put it towards a 3pt attachment.

Del Marino (sp?) makes a mid mount mower that will fit the Kioti if you want a MMM.

2008 was when the interim tier 4 enigne compliance started, thus change from indirect to direct injection engines and some HP changes & ratings. After that these have all been pretty much the same for past 3 years.
