Used my CK30 to mow the back yard Saturday. With all the fuzzies out there I was cleaning everything off and noticed what looked like a chunk of the radiator fan body missing. Looked closer and found that all of the blades and the body had missing areas, some on the front sides and some on the backs were missing but nothing really busted up. When I got real close it looks like the whole fan has been chewed on by mice with nice rounded areas missing on most of the blades:mad:. I tried looking up the part number for the fan and can't find it under any of the headings on the parts lists that are available. Anybody know the part number or what heading it is listed under ? I want to get a replacement before I have to use it again.

Does anyone know if I need to pull the radiator to get to it or can you get it off with just removing the shroud ?

Try Michigan Iron/equipment. Have serial # ready. Ask them if just shroud or radiator needs removal.

Thanks, wouldn't have thought the alternator group. They show it in phantom in the water pump group and not at all in the radiator group. I'll get one of those on order.

so you're going to supply the mice with fresh food, eh?

Interesting. I know mice have been under my bonnet occasionally but only a bit of insulation damage. Must check my fan now... lol
