Hey All! First ever post. Just purchased a Kioti CK30 a week ago and got my first issue. Not a biggie, but I am stumped. The Parking Brake Light is on - even when the parking brake is off. I have already read some different threads about the micro switch which was very helpful. I was able to move the fuse box aside and remove the bracket that holds the micro switch to the inner column (to the left of your right knee as you sit in the tractor).
So I got it out, and it seems to be functioning properly (clicking when the top metal tab is pressed down (Parking brake on) and up (off)). I disconnected the two wires, thinking that if the micro switch is stuck in the ON position, this would surely make the light go off. Nope. Disconnected - light stays on. Connecting the two wire leads - same thing. So now I am stumped. By the way - the part number for the micro switch is D2MS-5511 (44512-68813 - Micro Switch for Kioti Tractors | Up to 60% off Dealer Prices | TractorJoe.com)
Any thoughts?
