I searched high an low and have only found the Sims option which is very high priced. Seems like there are other companies out there like Original Cabs but they don't show anything for Kioti. Surely there are options for hard and soft cabs by now.
Direction and pricing would be appreciated. Pictures would really be great.

Thanks...Makato

I wish... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif The only one I've ever heard of is the Sims. I've been hoping for an update from KiotiKevin, he bought a Sims. Not sure how he made out with it. Others have reported that the Sims can be an aggravating experiance to install.
You would think that with the enormous popularity of the CK25/30 models that Kioti would offer a factory hard cab. hint, hint! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
If they did I'd grab one up in a heartbeat!

Sent a note to originalcab.com. Seems to be comprehensive for many tractors whether hard top or windbreaker but there was not Kioti. Possibly they will come back with something or look into making them.

Hi Guys,
As usual, I apologize for taking so long to bring people up to date on my last post regarding my new Sims cab. First of all, I don't regret ording it. It cost me a total of $2800 cdn including tax & shipping, not a lot of money in my opinion for a quality product. They shipped it right to my garage door. There was some problems with instructions ; I phoned them and they explained what parts I did't recognize and where they went. Some parts were missing and they sent them no trouble. I also had a couple of problems with parts that need modification. Keep in mind they rarely hear from the end user like me and Bill because usually dealers order them for customers and any modifications that are needed, are done in the garage without Sims or the customer knowing there is any problem in the first place. I believe my time on the phone with the Sims people has benifited the end user. As a result, the problem Bill had with the door handle not keeping the door closed is solved - they created a new one that fits very well. I also purchased a cab heater that needed modifications to some parts they worked them all out with me and even knocked a few dollars off to compensate. The heater kit is well worth the money. Everything you need is there, lots of heater hose, adapters etc. I haven't got all these things together yet because I haven't had the time (the story of my life). A lot of this stuff is basic common sense with at least being somewhat mechanically inclined and you have the necessary tools to work with and that's not many. I would highly recommend installing yourself if you enjoy being around your Kioti, like I do. If anyone decides to install this cab yourself I will be more than happy to help where I can. I read the posts almost every day, I just don't have the time to get into the diologue ( I wish I did). I will make sure I respond where I can help so don't hesitate. I can only speak to my CK 25 (ck30). I have lots of pictures. I'll post them when I can. Any more questions - just ask.

Thanks for the info. I personaly was looking for a lower end funtional solution as 2k and given the issues doesn't quite fit the bill. I'm sure when I'm freezing this winter I'll have other thoughts.
Got a quick response (below) from "OTC" and it wasn't very encouraging.

We do not make anything for the Kioti line. Our attempts to work with
Kioti
to develop a cab, have all fallen flat (they are not interested).

You might try contacting Femco at 800-677-0898 or Valu-bilt at
888-828-3276.
One of these companies might have a universal cab that might fit your
tractor.

Good luck with your search.

Sincerely, Gary Vandagrifft

I know what you mean. I have my ck25 just over a year and experienced the snow & wind in the face. I couldn't afford to get a cab right away, heck I can't afford it now but squeeked through anyway with the help of my wife. When your ready you will have a special appreciation for what ever type of cab you get. Good Luck and I believe you have chosen the right machine as well.

I checked out fremar.com who make enclosures for more industrial machines but they have a fork lift section that have soft cabs the fit over a roof. I requested some info on dimensions etc. to see if this could become an option with some minor retrofit effort. For me personaly, I'd like to find something that was easy on/off.

Thanks

While looking for a cab for the CK20 I am looking to purchase, I came across this website with cabs for a ton of different tractors.

www.cabdepot.com - The link will take you to the CK25/CK30 cab page. Apparently it is a new product and there is no price available yet.

Here is a picture of the model for the CK30 and CK25

Hope this helps.

I believe this is the one KiotiKevin has installed but he would be better qualified to answer that. The picture is the Sims cab.
I have traded several messages with a rep from Fremar Covers and they appear to be interested in the expansiveness of the Kioti community. Hey, were talking about a $400-$800 option and based on what is on their site, the quality looks pretty good with options. To late in the year to get any fab done but this may turn into something for users and dealers next year since they sell through dealers. If you view their site, they acually have developed a couple 3 sided soft cabs for the other orange tractors L35 and L48.

i followed your other post where you state the tractor size you're looking for.. sorry i didn't respond to that post, but i'll toss in my 2 cents here:

have you considered buying a larger tractor? i've read what you're going to use it for, and IMHO (take it with a grain of salt from another 'telecom' guy), you'd be better served by a larger unit, one with a cab.

if your budget permits, i'd strongly suggest that you look at a larger tractor. i'm very familiar with your area, and judging from what you're going to use it for, the extra HP (with a cab) might be more appropriate in the long run.

good luck

I have to agree that a larger cab model might be more in line with 80 acres. I didn't realize the size of the jobs when I first read this post. A DK45S may be up the right alley.

Well anybody who want to contribute to the Makato fund, by all means. Budgets are budgets.
You probably missed my original post regarding pricing etc. I have 80 acres of solid woods in the Cherry Mountains. Only open area is the drive and around the house. I'm going to use the tractor for snow removel, cleaning out the bottom 12 acres of undergrowth and dead falls in the pines, cut and haul wood out, keep the drainage ditches clear and again back to the drive, keep it in good shape which is a biggy. The crown is really important due to the run-off during the melt. I'm sure I'm in for a whale of a time first winter but I've got you guys for moral support...............
Anything above a 30 is tough to haul if need be so I'm holding there.
The Fremar Cover guys are looking into this situation which will be good for the dealer guys. I would expect the price point to be below 1k and probably several hundred below that.

I would think that the popularity of the CK25/30 line and the now availability of factory cabs on 30hp range MF's and Kubota's would prompt Kioti to introduce a factory cab. I would buy one ASAP. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Not to get completely off subject here, but have you seen or heard any info on the DK45S cabs? I have not seen one or heard of anything yet coming. Just wondering.

Well I tried to e-mail Kioti customer service to "put a bug in their ear" about a hard cab kit for the CKs but my e-mail got bounced back as undeliverable. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Does anyone know a working e-mail address for customer service?

Keep trying. I know in the past someone at Kioti was adjusting the security settings for their email and set it to high.

When I entered my zip code, I got a price of 1995.00. There are some nice options available also. I don't mind the cold yet, but some day................. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Finally got through to customer service (their email seems to be working quite nicely now) and I received the following response to my inquiry about a cab for the CK25/30. I thought that I would post it here for your enjoyment...

Thank you for your interest in KIOTI Tractors and we thank you for the purchase of your CK25/30. We hope that you enjoy it for many years to come. I have forwarded your request of the cabs to our marketing department. Please visit our website for any new products and additions to the KIOTI family.

Thank you for your patronage,

Not really saying much, but I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Hey KiotiKevin, hows bout those pics? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think you were lucky to have received even an acknowledgement of your e-mail. I sent "customer service" an e-mail about a cab for the CK25/30 models on the 13th of Oct and have not heard any thing from them. But I understand. I also sent them a testimonial for the CK30 last January as did others and to date this model still does not have one posted.

But even with out support from the builder the tractor is great and the support from my dealer, Moore's Corner Inc., in Granville, NY is outstanding.
