Oil & Fuel CK30 - Burnin Home Heating Oil

I understand #2 home heating oil to be very similar to diesel.
Two questions:

1. Has anyone tried it on a Kioti CK30, and, how has it worked? What Kioti engine models has it worked/not worked?

2. Would a dealer comment on their experience servicing engines that they know have been burning #2.

Here in NC, #2 fuel oil is the same as off-road diesel. It may or may not be dyed red. I use it in my over 30 year old diesels as well as my DK 55 with no problems. I emptied the heating oil tank at my mom's years ago when we converted to propane. Guess what! It was filled with red dyed off- road fuel.
