I like it a lot. As mentioned, it's not even comparable to a
BX25D (which has the same HP), but that's mostly due to the extra weight.
Now, the Kioti backhoe has many other things I prefer over the Kubota's, like that the levers for the outriggers work in the correct direction - away is down, like it should be. Built in outrigger restraints is another nice touch.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a replacement for a Case 580, but great for smaller jobs. For example, today I needed to create space for 4- as I had extended a drainage ditch culvert.
Yesterday I pecked away at it with the
BX25D, just to make room around the culvert, but had I not used the Kioti today I'd probably still been out there working at it. And a Case 580 would've been severe overkill and taken longer to keep repositioning.
