I bought from my local KIOTI dealer, and just installed, the factory cruise control kit for my 2018 Kioti. The dash light illuminates when I press the on switch, but when I release it, the light goes out and the FWD pedal returns to neutral setting. The manual is confusing, but I also tried pushing the switch on, getting up to speed, then released switch and pedal drops to neutral position.
Also, I do not hear or feel the relays energizing. I have varied the magnet clearance from 0.0mm to 2mm.
Is there a fuse that needs to be installed to activate the relays?
Owners manual and shop manual both turds for trouble shooting.

I rechecked all connections and confirmed the relays do work by swapping them.
I also discovered that the magnet will energize, hold the pedal in position, and the light stay on when the brake switch is closed, but as soon as brake is released, coil is deenergized and pedal returns to neutral position.

A normal cruise control does the opposite and disengages when pushing the brake pedal. But I'm sure you knew that.

Anyway, the brake pedal wiring is where I'd start the trouble shooting. Maybe bypass that safety feature for a test?

I'll check the brake switch wiring. Maybe there's a wire pulled loose, but the brake lights operate normal. This is a plug and play set up. I called my Dealer and he claims they just install and works perfect.
Thanks for the reply!

Power comes in from the upper left from the brake lamp fuse circuit. Orange wire leads to the Brake Cruise Relay and is energized when brake switch closes. That also puts power to the brake light relay and goes to ground closing the contacts to the brake lights.
Yellow/Green wire travels to Cruise Relay and Switch.
I get a little confused here as to which path current takes, but the Cruise Relay doesn't engage until the Brake Cruise Relay is energized.
I checked voltage to pins on relays and they are as shown.
I'm rusty on my wire diagram reading, so I may be missing something obvious.
Maybe a bad diode allowing reverse current flow?

So I ordered a new cruise control kit from Michigan Iron. Disconnect old harness and installed new harness. I left all other components as they were.
Cruise operates as it should.
I bought the original kit in August of 2023 and just finally got around to installing.
Hey, I've been busy with a house renovation so we could get out of RV life.
Now to convince my Dealer to give me back my money for the faulty kit.
